There has never been a more exciting time for Dodgeball in the United Kingdom. UKDBA plays a leading role in the development of dodgeball, a fast growing, dynamic and modern sport. Dodgeball is an exciting team sport that appeals to all age groups, genders, backgrounds and ethnicities.

We are looking to lift the sport to new levels and are therefore looking for two outstanding applicants to the position of two Independent Directors – 1) Marketing & Digital Media and 2) HR & Finance to the UKDBA Board. As a Board member, the Directors will create & assess the Marketing & Media strategy and HR & Finance strategy of the organisation objectively and impact on the implementation of the development strategy for UKDBA.

Dodgeball Coach – Nottingham Trent University
Additional information: This role has an hourly pay rate of £20

NTU Sport proudly supports talented athletes and those who play sport purely for fun, helping each individual to achieve their personal goals; we encourage all of our students and staff to follow an active, healthy lifestyle; and we are pleased to welcome the wider community onto campus to take advantage of our world-class sports facilities.

In 2015/16 we engaged with over 8,000 students and staff in our programmes. The department hope to increase this significantly next year, whilst driving the peformance element. In 2015/16 the Dodgeball club had over 50 members and made good progression in the league whilst winning the university championships

We are seeking an individual who is able to deliver high quality coaching services and make a significant contribution to the performance and participation programme within Dodgeball. You will possess an in-depth understand of coaching styles and practical delivery.

You will have experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, and a proven track record of delivering results whilst coaching at a high performance level and knowledge of league structures would be advantageous.

The successful candidate will be conscientious with good communication, influencing and team working skills. The role will be offered on an annualised hours basis, and therefore you will need to be adaptable and have a flexible approach to work across the academic year, including the availability to work evenings and weekends where necessary.

Competitions Coordinator Personnel Specification

Post: Competitions Coordinator
Salary: £18,000 pro rata

Hours: 22.5

Contract: Permanent

The UK Dodgeball Association wishes to appoint a Competitions Coordinator. The successful applicant will be responsible for the management of the UKDBA’s calendar of competitions in England. Focusing on adult elite, entry level and junior open tournaments and events.

The successful applicant’s place of work will be both home based and nationwide at tournaments and events. The successful applicant will receive an essential car user’s allowance.

Closing Date for Applications: 4pm on the 12th August 2016

Interviews for post to be held on: 24th August 2016

Expected post start date: 1st September 2016
