Women’s Dodgeball in the UK continues to grow – with ‘all women’ teams competing for the Women’s UK Championships this year

There has been an increase in the number of women’s teams affiliated to the UKDBA in the last 2 years – the number of women’s teams has now increased to 12 – although most of the teams are from universities and play alongside the men’s teams, there are now more and more teams being set up in the women’s game outside the universities

In the past 2 years since the UKDBA coaching certificates were introduced a total of 51 women have completed the Level 1 certificate and 201 qualified Level 2 coaches - equating for just over a quarter of all coaches trained by the UKDBA

The UKDBA is aiming to increase the number of women in the sport - in terms of coaching, playing and refereeing

More and more women are becoming involved in Dodgeball, if you want help running a session, help set up a club or team, or to just ask advice contact a UKDBA Womens & Girls Development Officer:
Katie Lake, for support in setting up dodgeball activities at schools and for under 16's;
Billie Wright, for help in setting up an adult club or team;
Charlotte Porteous, for help in developing women's dodgeball at university.
