Reepham Raiders stayed on top of the Division One table at the end of the fifth week of league play, to claim the league title and a place in the Premier League for next season. They won 12 of their 14 league matches in the season, losing just one match to MUDS Elite, who finished third and being held to a draw in one of their encounters with Imperial Wolverines 1.
Imperial Wolverines claimed the second promotion place. They lost just two matches all season, one to the league champions and the other a suprise Week Four defeat to Coventry Cobras A.
The relegation battle went right up to the last week's play. Any two of four teams could have gone down. It was Coventry Cobras A and Fellows Appreciation Society who avoided the drop. Cobras made sure they remained in Division One next season with a hard fought 4-3 win over Fellows App. Soc. Fellows then had it all to play for against Hinckley Hawks in the final match for both teams, the winning team would maintain their Division 1 status and the loser would go down with Minotaur Dodgeball. It was Fellows who came out on top and they will be in the top National League division again next season.

Meteors made home advantage count as they came out on top at the first UKDBA National Dodgeball League Play-offs, held at Lutterworth Sports Centre. They defeated UoB Bedford Bulls in an all-action, exciting final by four Games to two.
Bedford Bulls started the Final in great fashion with a convincing 6 players to 0 win, Meteors fired back with two games in a row but Bedford then levelled the match at two Games each. Games 5 and 6 were tight and tense and it was Meteors who just edged both by a one player margin, 4-3 and 3-2, to win the Final and claim the National Dodgeball League title. The consolation for Bedford Bulls is that both finalists have won promotion into the UK Dodgeball Premier League for next season; the DPL is being expanded from six to eight teams for the 2011-12 season.
Meteors had not started off at top pace, held to a draw by Hinckley Hawks but they stepped up their game to win against Southampton Pirates and Minotaur Dodgeball, to finish top of their group. Bedford Bulls won all three of their matches in Round One but had to battle to overcome Reepham Raiders who recovered from 0-2 down to level the match at 2-2 before Bedford could clinch victory in the deciding fifth game.
The Quarter-finals were surprising, with 2nd placed teams playing the 3rd team from the other Round One Group it was both third placed teams who made it through to the Semi-finals. This showed how evenly matched all eight teams were in the Play-offs. Southampton Pirates 1sts went down 3-0 to Warwick Warriors II and Reepham Raiders A went out 3-1 to Minotaur Dodgeball, who upset the form book by making it through to the Semi-finals after they were invited to take part as a ‘wild card’ team (3rd placed Conference team with the highest league points) after the Northern Champions could not take part in the Play-offs.
The Semi-finals were more predictable, both Round One Group winners defeating their opponents, UoB Bedford Bulls by 4-0 over Warwick II and Meteors by 4-1 against Minotaur Dodgeball.
The 3rd Place Match was a close encounter which matched the Final. Warwick Warriors II and Minotaur Dodgeball fought tooth and nail over all seven games. Game One ended as a 2-2 draw, Minotaurs won Game Two by 3 payers to 2 and they maintained their lead after Game 3 finished up as a 3-3 draw. Warwick II then took control by winning the next two games but Minotaur Dodgeball recovered to win Games six and seven to finish up as 3-2 winners.
The Play-offs decided the top eight places in the National League:
1st. Meteors (Lutterworth)
2nd. UoB Bedford Bulls I
3rd. Minotaur Dodgeball (Leicester)
4th. Warwick Uni Warriors II
5th. Southampton Uni Pirates 1sts
6th. Reepham Raiders A (Norwich)
7th. Hinckley Hawks
8th. Raging Bulls (Ellesmere Port)
