Chairman: Peter Robson I have been playing dodgeball since 2005 when I reluctantly took part in a charity dodgeball tournament organised through my work. Since then I have taken over the captaining of my team, The Vipers and train every week in Halifax. I got involved with the UKDBA in 2007 and became chairman in 2008 as I believe that dodgeball has the potential to become a first class minority sport played by children and adults of all abilities and I wanted to be part of shaping it's development. Vice Chairman: Keven Barnes My Dodgeballing career began in 2006 when I joined my local team ‘The Vipers’, since then I’ve attended numerous tournaments as either a player or UKDBA official. I became Vice-Chairman early in 2008 and my aim is to make sure the right decisions are made to further and promote the sport within the UK. Dodgeballing highlight so far: refereeing Ant & Dec celebrity teams in February 2008 Contact Keven: keven.barnes@ukdba.org
Secretary: Nick Pinnock I started playing dodgeball in January 2006, when my teenage daughter and I started a works dodgeball team. I really enjoyed playing the sport and took over running the league in my home town and was then asked to take over Northampton Dodgeball League, a few weeks later I helped start up the league in Leicester. I was voted in as UKDBA Secretary at the first AGM in 2007, which meant I could follow up all the enquiries I was receiving about dodgeball from all over the UK before there was a UKDBA committee. Contact Nick nick.pinnock@ukdba.org
Treasurer: Kyle Wedgwood I’ve been playing Dodgeball in various forms since it was introduced as a wet weather alternative at my school and went on to establish the University of Nottingham Dodgeball Club during my first year of study. During our first year of competitive playing I got involved with the UKDBA so I could help further develop the sport of Dodgeball in the UK, as well as to give pupils in schools the same chance to experience Dodgeball that I did. I was voted in as UKDBA Treasurer at the first AGM in 2007. Contact Kyle: kyle.wedgwood@ukdba.org
