LEVEL TWO CERTIFICATE, for Coaches, is a one-day course comprising of written and practical elements.
On successful completion of the UKDBA Level Two course a candidate should be able to:
Demonstrate an ability to safely organise and supervise Dodgeball activities including drills, games and tournament play.
Promote and establish working relationships and high standards of behaviour with players, coaches, parents and officials in the overall development of Dodgeball.
Demonstrate an understanding of related aspects of coaching Dodgeball including:
- Coach and player development
- Good practice in team management and coaching
- Health and Safety
- Team administration
- Working with parents, attitudes, within codes of conduct and ethics
- Basic laws of the game and rule variations in the age groups
- Demonstrate an ability to identify and adapt Dodgeball activities and sessions for a variety of different skill levels and age groups.
Demonstrate an awareness of further personal development opportunities in Dodgeball including coaching, administration, officiating and sports therapy.
