| UKDBA Young Leaders Award | This course has been developed by UK Dodgeball Association to support the development of Junior Leaders who will assist in the delivery and officiating of Dodgeball Duration - 3 hours | UKDBA Coaching Certificate - Level 1 | Candidates enrolling on the UKDBA Level 1 Coaching Certificate in Dodgeball can do so with no prior knowledge of the sport MODULE 1: health and safety, rules, warm ups, tournament games, officiating MODULE 2: coaching styles, basic techniques, basic tactics, demonstrations, observation and feedback MODULE 3: STEP, adapting tasks and games, meeting needs of players ASSESSMENT: Delivery of a pre-prepared session plan provided by tutors Duration - 6 hours Cost £60 per candidate | UKDBA Coaching Certificate - Level 2 | Must hold a level 1 in Dodgeball or another sport MODULE 1: health and safety, rules, warm ups, tournament games, officiating – refresher for level 1/new candidates MODULE 2: conditioning games, reviewing, adapting and creating MODULE 3: advanced techniques, tactics, use of questioning MODULE 4: planning, progression, differentiation, objectives ASSESMENT: Plan and deliver a part of a session 8 HOURS IN TOTAL Cost £100 per candidate | UKDBA Referees Course | Course Fees are affordable and are set to reflect a trainees knowledge and ability: UKDBA Coaches L1 and above: £30.00 (3-hour course) UKDBA members: £40.00 (4-hour course) Referees from other sports, new to UKDBA dodgeball: £50.00 (5-hour course) Non-members, new to UKDBA dodgeball: £65.00 (5-hour course) For more information on the referees course please see Referees Page |
